W. W.. Bright brought this suit against the Houston & Texas Central Railroad Company to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by him While in the defendant’s employment as a bridge worker. Liability was predicated upon the alleged negligence of defendant in failing to furnish to plaintiff a elawbar that was reasonably safe for use, and in furnishing one that was defective.
