Anthony Martinez (“Movant”) appeals the denial of his Rule 29.15 post-conviction relief motion alleging ineffective assistance of appellate counsel. 1 In his sole point on appeal, Movant contends that the motion court clearly erred because his appellate counsel was constitutionally ineffective in failing to assert on direct appeal that there was insufficient evidence to support his convictions for first-degree, domestic assault and armed criminal action.
