Plaintixx in error, Amis, was convicted of the rape of an unmarried girl sixteen years of age and was sentenced by the court to confinement in the penitentiary. He brings error and relies for reversal upon the following assignments: (1) The court erred in denying the defendant’s first and supplemental motions for a change of venue; (2) the jury should have been kept together and not allowed to separate during the trial; (3) the defendant, being entitled by the Constitution and laws of the state to a trial by a fair and impartial jury, did not have the same; (4) insufficiency of the evidence.…
