It is conceded by the defendant that the plaintiffs showed title to the premises in question, as the matter stood when they rested their case. There can be no doubt that the deed to their father from Perry Cornwall, dated March 19,1852, covers these premises, as do all the deeds in the plaintiffs’ chain of title, beginning with that of Baltus Lingenfelter to Aaron Putnam, of July 13, 1824.
