This suit was brought by citizens and taxpayers of Tennessee against the Governor, the Treasurer, the Secretary of State, and the Little River Lumber Company. The primary object of. the bill was to enjoin the State officials named from completing the purchase of certain lands of the Little River Lumber Company, which purchase was supposed by State officials to have been authorized by Chapter 57 of the Acts of 1925.
