That on the 15th of November, 1893, he leased to the defendant a certain house and lot in the city of Greenville, “for the term of one year from the date of the entry into the possession thereof, at the price of $22.50 for each month during said term, payable at the end of each month thereof, and that the defendant did agree to the terms of said lease, and did, on November 15th, 1893, enter into the possession of said premises under said agreement.” 2d. “That the rent…
