¶ 1. This case involves a wrongful-death action against Cleveland Gowdy and Schneider National Carriers, Inc. for the death of Marie Payne. Her wrongful-death beneficiaries, Ronald and Thomas Payne, appeal a jury verdict that found Cleveland not negligent in Marie’s death.
