Alphonse Mourad appeals from the bankruptcy court’s dismissal of his claims, which were removed from state court pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1452(a), and its denial of his motion to remand. 1 The Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the First Circuit affirmed the bankruptcy court judgment and adopted its findings of fact and conclusions of law. On appeal, we review the bankruptcy court’s findings of fact for clear error, and afford de novo review to its conclusions of law. In re Healthco Int’l, Inc., 132 F.3d 104, 107 (1st Cir.1997).
