Complainants, Edward Sheldon and Margaret Ayer Barnes, instituted this suit against the defendants, Metro-Goldwyn Pictures Corporation, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Distributing Corporation, Loew’s, Inc., and Culver Export Corporation alleging that the defendants in making, distributing and exhibiting their motion picture “Letty Lynton” appropriated and infringed upon complainants’ dramatic composition “Dishonored Lady”.
