The defendant appeals from his April, 1984, convictions of unlawful possession of a shotgun, armed burglary, and armed assault in a dwelling. At trial, the defendant contended that the elderly victim and other witnesses mistakenly identified him as the assailant. He raises two issues on appeal. On both of these issues we agree with the defendant that there was error but conclude that the errors, in the circumstances, were harmless.
