On January 15th, 1885, the defendant Issac C. Fowler, who was engaged in the renting business at Bi-idgeport, Conn., and the plaintiff Cole, who was in his employ, entered into copartnership under the 'firm name :of' I. C Fowler & Co. The agreement was that each partner- should have an equal interest in the business; that the firm should succeed to the business of I. C. Fowler, and should continue that business.
