ZACHARY, Judge.

Michael Barbour (defendant) appeals from the judgments entered upon his convictions of rape of a child, sex offense against a child, and two charges of taking indecent liberties with a child, with all offenses alleged to have been committed against the minor victim, "Rachel."1 On appeal, defendant argues that the trial court erred by allowing witnesses to vouch for Rachel's credibility, by restricting defendant's cross-examination of certain witnesses, and by failing to intervene ex mero motu during the prosecutor's closing argument.
