Mercure, J. Appeals (1) from a judgment of the County Court of Tompkins County (Sherman, J.), entered April 27, 1994, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and forgery in the second degree, and (2) from two orders of said court, rendered March 15, 1994 and April 27, 1994, which, inter alia, granted defendant’s motion to set aside the jury’s verdict convicting defendant of the crime of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree and dismissed count one of the indictment.
