Combined Energies (CE) and CCI, Inc. (CCI) were once contractually “strategically aligned” to obtain and perform jobs from the United States Navy in the northeastern part of the United States. After CCI hired away a majority of CE’s most valuable employees and discharged CE as its prime subcontractor, their relationship soured and CE filed the inevitable lawsuit.
