FOLLAND, Justice.

Appellant by this appeal is seeking to preserve the premises involved as a homestead for herself and family. She is a widow, the head of the family, having two minor children who reside with her. The family now and for many years past has occupied the premises as a home. Respondent furnished certain labor and materials at appellant’s request in repairing and remodeling the house on the premises in dispute.
