Denying the Defendants’ Motion for Relief From Judgment
I. INTRODUCTION
This Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (“IDEA”) case comes before the court on the defendants’ motion for relief from judgment pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 60(b). 1 The plaintiffs, handicapped children and their parents and guardians, filed a motion for a stay put injunction to prevent the defendants, the District of Columbia and the District of Columbia Public Schools (“DCPS”), from unilaterally modifying the students’ current school placement. 2 Because the…
