The taxpayer is a Delaware corporation, organized July 14, 1919, and licensed to do business in Wisconsin on August 25th of that year. The company engages in the manufacture of dyestuffs and chemicals, with factories at Carrollville, Wisconsin, and Passaic, New Jersey, and also the manufacture of wood distillates, which is carried on in the states of Florida, Alabama, and Louisiana.
