L. c. 109, § 24, upon the application of the petitioner, hereinafter called the company, to the board for its approval of a proposed issue of additional stock, dismissed the application, being moved thereto by an erroneous view of the law; and prays that a writ of certiorari may issue to the end that the error may be corrected and the board directed to act upon the application in accordance with law.
