—Judgment, Supreme Court, New York County (Budd Goodman, J.), rendered August 11, 1994, convicting defendant, after a jury trial, of rape in the first degree, and sentencing him to a term of 7 to 21 years, unanimously affirmed.

By failing to make a sufficiently specific request, defendant did not preserve his current claim that the court should have instructed the jury regarding voluntariness of statements (People v Cefaro, 23 NY2d 283, 285-289; People v Torres, 205 AD2d 350, lv denied 84 NY2d 873; see also, People v Walls, 91 NY2d 987), and we decline to review it in the interest of justice.…
