{¶ 1} Joshua A. Scheer appeals his sentence to the maximum, consecutive term of 12 months’ imprisonment for each of two counts of passing bad checks. First, Scheer argues that the trial court erred in finding that he is not amenable to community-control sanctions and that a prison term is appropriate. We conclude that the court’s finding is supported by the record because the court was free to reject Scheer’s claim of remorse, to consider the terms of imprisonment Scheer faced if convicted on the charges dismissed under the plea agreement, and to rely on Scheer’s criminal…
