Plaintiff, Anthony LaCerra, sued Edward Wood-rich and Steve Kasper, police officers of Chicago, to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by him and for damages to his automobile. Plaintiff dismissed the suit as to Kasper. The case was tried before the court and a jury and a verdict was returned finding defendant Woodrich guilty and assessing plaintiff’s damages at $500.
