People Ex Rel. City of Leland Grove v. City of Springfield

This case began when relator, the City of Leland Grove, filed a complaint in quo warranto challenging the authority of the defendant City of Springfield to exercise jurisdiction over real estate which was the subject of conflicting annexation petitions. Previously, this court considered an appeal by Springfield from a summary judgment entered by the circuit court of Sangamon County. (People ex rel. City of Leland Grove v.
