Each of these two cases, which we have consolidated for review in this court, involves the application of credit for time served prior to each defendant’s revocation proceeding.

In cause No. 50865, defendant, Larue Scheib, pleaded guilty to burglary and was sentenced by the circuit court of Sangamon County to two years’ probation. The conditions of Scheib’s probation included a $200 fine and separate jail sentences of six weekends and 20 days in jail.
