Gregory, Justice:
This appeal is from the order of the family court transferring trial jurisdiction to the court of general sessions pursuant to Section 14-21-540, 1976 Code of Laws of South Carolina. 1 We affirm.
Appellant Leroy Shaw was charged by petition to the family court with three counts of assault and battery with intent to kill, one count of armed robbery, and one count of . attempted armed robbery.
