Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Schenectady County (Milano, J.), rendered August 20, 2015, convicting defendant following a nonjury trial of the crimes of scheme to defraud in the first degree, grand larceny in the third degree (two counts) and grand larceny in the fourth degree.

In October 2014, defendant was charged in an 11-count indictment with one count of scheme to defraud in the first degree, two counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, five counts of grand larceny in the fourth degree and three counts of grand larceny in the third degree.…
