* This is a novel case. The court considers whether it must both dismiss a Family Court Act article 6 custody petition of a relative with whom the child is currently placed under a Family Court Act article 10 proceeding that has been adjourned in contemplation of dismissal and amend the article 10 proceeding’s permanency goal.
