— Appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court at Special Term (Kahn, J.), entered August 5, 1983 in Rensselaer County, which granted petitioners’ application, in a proceeding pursuant to CPLR article 78, to require that an election be held for the office of Mayor of the City of Rensselaer at the November 8,1983 general election.
