ROSENN, Circuit Judge.

Defendant was tried to a jury and convicted and sentenced on a five count indictment alleging commission of a series of bank robberies in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2113(a). Before trial, the Government made a motion to require the defendant to disclose the names and addresses of his alibi witnesses pursuant to Rule 12.1 of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure.
