This appeal involves a civil forfeiture proceeding under the Georgia Controlled Substances Act (“GCSA”). The trial court granted the state’s motion for an order of forfeiture and disposition of seized property belonging to Glenn Weaver, ruling that he failed to file a timely claim to the property, so it was forfeited to the state. The trial court subsequently issued an order of distribution pursuant to OCGA § 16-13-49 (u) (4) (C). Weaver appeals, and we affirm for the reasons set forth below.
