This is a civil action seeking judicial review of an administrative decision. Plaintiff, Carmen Acosta (“Acosta”), appeals from the decision of the Commissioner of the Social Security Administration (“Commissioner”) denying her claim for disability insurance benefits under Title II of the Social Security Act. Pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 405(g), the District Court has jurisdiction to hear the appeal.
