Marvin L. Sanders was convicted by a jury on April 15, 1991, of the offenses of driving while intoxicated, section 577.010, RSMo 1986, and driving while revoked, section 302.-321, RSMo Supp.1992. Mr. Sanders was sentenced on May 23, 1991, as a persistent intoxication-related traffic offense offender, section 577.023.3, RSMo 1986,1 to consecutive sentences of five years imprisonment in the Missouri Department of Corrections and one year in the Nodaway County Jail.
