This is an action of trespass and ejectment, brought by landlord against tenant, in the District Court of the Sixth Judicial District, to recover possession of a tene-‘ ment let, and certified therefrom on questions involving the constitutionality of Gfen. Laws R. I. cap. 237, § 9, which reads as follows:
