TALIAFERRO, Judge.

At the intersection of Jordan street and Fairfield avenue in the city of Shreveport, a few minutes before 7 o’clock a. m., August 1, 1931, the motor vehicles of the defendants, Arthur Chelette and Alphonse Taglialavore, collided, and Nellie Gray Russell, wife of plaintiff, was killed. Jordan street runs easterly and westerly. Taglialavore, in his Chevrolet truck, was traveling thereon easterly, at a rate of speed variously estimated at from 25 to 35 miles per hour.
