Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Dunkin, J.), rendered March 20, 1984, convicting him of sexual abuse in the first degree, and assault in the third degree (two counts), upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence. The appeal brings up for review the denial (Lakritz, J.), after a hearing, of that branch of the defendant’s omnibus motion which was to suppress physical evidence.

Ordered that the judgment is reversed, on the law and as a matter of discretion in the interest of justice, and a new trial is ordered.
