This cause comes to the writer for opinion upon a reassignment. It is an action to recover damages for personal injuries alleged to have proximately resulted from the negligence of an employee of defendants (who at the time were the duly appointed receivers of the Kansas City Railways Company, a corporation) in the operation of a street car upon a public street in Kansas City. This is the second appeal in the cause. The first trial resulted in a directed verdict, and judgment for defendants.
