This is an action on the case pending in Windham County court. The defendant, before trial, preferred its petition to the presiding judge of that court, according to the statute in such case made and provided, praying for a removal of the case to the county court of another county for trial, because of local prejudice against it in Windham County. The prayer of the petition was denied on hearing, and the de*539fendant comes here for a writ of certiorari to bring up the record of those proceedings for review.
