DECISION AND JUDGMENT ENTRY

{¶ 1} Carlos L. Jenkins appeals the conviction and sentence entered against him by the Lawrence County Court of Common Pleas for murder with a firearm specification. Jenkins contends that the trial court erred in denying his motion for acquittal because he asserts that the record contains no evidence proving that he acted purposely. We disagree because, after viewing the evidence in a light most favorable to the prosecution, we find that a rational trier of fact could have found beyond a reasonable doubt that Jenkins acted purposely.
