*916Spain, J. Appeal from an order of the Family Court of Saratoga County (Abramson, J.), entered September 17, 2003, which dismissed petitioner’s application, in a proceeding pursuant to Family Ct Act article 4, to direct respondent to pay child support.

The parties were married in 1984 and are the parents of four children. In 2002, the parties separated and the mother, as custodial parent, commenced this proceeding seeking child support from the father.
