On January 5, 1957,’ plaintiff brought this suit against the defendants for an alleged indebtedness of $2,622.50 — an action in rem —coupled with a writ of attachment under which certain property owned by. the defendants and described as “Lot 4 and the-South 50 feet of Lot 3 of Block 4 of University Place, Part E”, was seized.
