*659In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the defendant City of New York appeals, as limited by its brief, from so much an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Solomon, J.), dated May 31, 2006, as granted that branch of the plaintiffs motion which was for leave to serve a late notice of claim against it.
