The plaintiffs in this action are a group of former at-will employees who managed investment portfolios for The Dreyfus *101Corporation. They commenced this action for fraud, breach of contract, quantum meruit and defamation after they were terminated following a merger with another financial management company. The motion court granted the defendants’ motion to dismiss the complaint in its entirety because the plaintiffs were at-will employees.
