SPRECHER, Circuit Judge.
This case arises from the district court’s dismissal of one of the defendants in a federal securities fraud action for lack of in personam jurisdiction. The court concluded that the defendant did not have sufficient contacts with the State of Illinois to satisfy the Illinois Long Arm Statute, Ill.Rev.Stat., ch. 110, § 17 (1975), thus invalidating service effected on defendant in Oklahoma. We hold that the district court’s application to a federal securities fraud action of jurisdictional principles appropriate for diversity actions was error, and we therefore reverse…
