Leach v. Bright

In this appeal from a final judgment of the Circuit Court of Mason County, the appellant, Betty Jane Bright Leach, challenges the court’s failure to modify a child custody decree which awarded custody of the parties’ infant child to John Randall Bright, the appellee.

When the parties to this proceeding were divorced in 1974, the Circuit Court of Mason County awarded custody of their infant child, then two years old, to the appel-lee. In September 1977, the appellant petitioned the circuit court to modify the custody decree and award her permanent custody of the child.
