This was an action brought by H. J. Toudy against the Norfolk & "Western Railroad Company on the 26tli day of September, 1892, before a justice of the peace of Wayne county, for the recovery of two hundred dollars damages for a wrong done. It appears that the damages claimed wore occasioned by reason of the defendant running its engine and cars over the plaintiffs⅛ horse in February, 1892, in Wayne county, and that the damages sustained amounted to one hundred and fifty dollars.
