GODDARD, District Judge.

These are two libels in rem by J. Aron & Company, a New York corporation, against the steamships Mette Jensen and Kerlew to recover the sums of $204,332.49 and $85,775.-16, respectively, for damages to shipments of 'refined sugar in eases delivered by said steamers to the libelant in New York, short and in a badly damaged condition during July, August, and September, 1920.
