GARWOOD, Circuit Judge:
This is an appeal from the district court’s dismissal of a personal injury action for failure to prosecute and for failure of plaintiffs’ counsel to comply with orders of the court.
The first issue before us concerns our appellate jurisdiction. The district court’s order of dismissal was entered December 3, 1985. On December 17, 1985, plaintiffs-appellants served and filed their motion to reopen. The motion to reopen was denied by order entered January 15, 1986.
