Appeal from an order of the Supreme Court (Ferradino, J.), entered March 11, 2003 in Saratoga County, which, inter alia, granted certain parties’ cross motion for partial summary judgment on the issue of liability.

These cases stem from a multiple motor vehicle accident on Interstate 87, a three lane highway, in Saratoga County during a January 1999 snowstorm. The essential facts are not in dispute.
