Appeal from an order and judgment of the Supreme Court at Special Term (Prior, Jr., J.), entered June 24,1983 in Albany County, which granted petitioners’ application pursuant to CPLR 7511 to vacate an arbitration award. 11 On January 15, 1982, respondent Paul Meehan was suspended without pay from his position as a police officer for petitioner City of Albany for alleged criminal misconduct committed while on duty.
