The attack in this appeal is on the validity of the ex parte appointment of a receiver for the First Continental Savings and Loan Association, Inc., which was granted on the application of Albert Ward, Director of the State Department of Assessments and Taxation, and of the State of Maryland, under the provisions of Sec. 160L of Ch. 1 of the Laws of the Special Session of 1961.
