Former Guy Gannett Publishing Company employee Harold Warren filed suit on December 12, 2001, alleging that four named defendants had deprived him of a pension-benefit increase in violation of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. § 1001, et seq.
